Conservation Network

Have you always wanted to start a conservation project but you do not know where to start. The Cat Drop Foundation aims to build a network of conservation projects. Ask yourself, do you find yourself totally immersed in our philosophy and approach to look for challenging ways to combine human interaction with natural environments, if so then we would probably be able to help each other.

If you want to start a project with our help than there are certain conditions. You will have to submit a short proposal (3 to 5 pages) in which you sketch your ideas. You will be required to demonstrate in a clear and precise manner how your idea fits into the Cat Drop philosophy. Your proposal will then be addressed by the Direction Board committee who will decide if the proposal is suitable and well thought through. Within four weeks after submission we will inform you about our decision.

If the idea is accepted you will have to write a full business plan. We can and will assist you with this. After the business plan is finished and accepted by the Direction Board, we will seek to make arrangements for funding of materials, transport and other associated items. We do not and will not support the payment of wages. Wages should be paid from own revenues made by your project. Thus the emphasis will be upon the owner of the project to deliver a suitable business plan.

The advantage of joining our network is that you will not have to start from scratch with regard to:

  • Bureaucracy
  • Funding applications
  • Scientific credibility
  • Knowledge
  • Professional Network
